Busy Vs Sweets & Treats — Restaurant in England

Incredible caterer!!! So I decided to plan a surprise party for my husband’s 60th birthday in September. I decided not to cater it myself to help aid the surprise. I received quotes from 2 other local caters and the venue, but having had salads and sandwiches delivered to work for lunches previously and the gorgeous pictures of home cooked food I decided to go with Busy V’s. One of the biggest issues I had when planning was I had one guest with an anaphylactic, life threatening allergy to garlic so needed to ensure none of the buffet menu had not only no garlic but that the kitchen and utensils were thoroughly cleaned to ensure no cross contamination, we also had guests that were Coeliac (GF) and Vegan. I was helped and advised at every step in order to make the right choices I changed my mind multiple times but despite this nothing was too much trouble and all of my desperate messages of concern and making changes were quickly replied/responded to. I went for the most expensive option for more choice and to include deserts. On the day, the food was delivered in mass. I was told there would be more than enough for extra guests that replied last minute but OMG I’ve never seen so much food. The choices and options were plentiful and the food was so delicious. Everything was homemade, fresh and tasty. When I had picked quiche or pork pie as an option there were all different ones sent, I was in shock at all the different flavours and how each one was more delicious than the last. Every single guest wanted to know who had done the catering as the food was out of this world and almost every guest (60+) took plates of food of home to share with other family members. The vegan and GF guests said there food was also the best they’d ever had and were surprised that so much effort had gone into ensuring there food was as plentiful and with equal amount of choice with sweet and savoury options as everyone else had- their food came in separate boxes fully labelled and were bursting.

I have to be completely honest and say Busy Vs was one of the top two most expensive local options, but for what we received- the amount, the quality, the freshness, catering for multiple dietary requirements and the taste.. it was worth much more than I paid and I don’t know how they make any money.

If I need to cater for any other event then I would not hesitate to use Busy Vs this was absolute luxury! I cannot thank Busy Vs enough for all their help, catering for so many needs and making this event incredibly memorable because everyone was talking about the food for weeks after!!...

We came here as we'd recently seen Danny from Rate my Takeaway raving about the sausage rolls so thought we would try them. Took a while to be served, I asked what flavour sausage rolls they had left, there was just 3 flavours but it took her a long time to figure out which they were, decided on a chorizo one and just as I was saying we'd take a cheese and pickle she told me that had been sold, how?? I'm supposed to be getting served so how can somebody else buy it. We took the chorizo one at £2.50 and me and my husband was going to share it, first bite we both took we each found a bone or a hard lump of gristle which put us off, it had a really strange lumpy texture but there was no flavour to it whatsoever, so how Danny thought these were the best ever I have no idea, think he really needs to get his taste buds checked, if you want the best sausage rolls ever then you need to get to Pickering in North Yorkshire and...

If I could give Vicky 100 stars I would!! She provided the catering for our wedding yesterday and it was absolutely incredible. We had a buffet and as always the food was delicious, everyone commented on how amazing the food was. If you ever need catering for an event I would definitely recommend Vicky in a heartbeat! Nothing was too much trouble and she bent over backwards to help us when deciding on what we wanted, she prices everything fairly and for the quality of the food I honestly think your getting a fantastic deal because it is worth much more.
