We stumbled upon this pretty cafe, during a shopping trip. It’s spacious, with unusual decor, is very clean, there is a toilet. The portions are generous. The breakfasts, although we didn’t order one, looked wonderful and varied and unusual. Mum and I both had an omelette, chips and salad and coffee. We enjoyed it, thank you! Next time we are in Selby we will come again.

Not many good cafes stay open in Selby late afternoon on a Saturday. We thought we may be forced to eat at Costa - until we stumbled on this place. Great food at very reasonable prices in cute surroundings. Plus we got served by the lovely Violet herself!

Found this little cafe tooked away down a quiet side street by accident. Wow. Food was superb and the cafe is absolutely immaculate. Fantastic service the food was cooked to perfection. From the minute you walk through the door the amount of pride the staff and owner puts into the place is instantly apparent. Lived in selby all my life and didn’t know it was even there. Dropped my car off at the Peugeot garage for work to be done to it, the guy a desk of the garage advised me to come here for something to eat. It’s a lovely little cafe and staff were very welcoming, I had a half breakfast and coffee. The breakfast was very nice and I’m glad I went for the half one as I was stuffed afterwards. Hopefully won’t need to come back to selby with my car but if I do I...

Went in today for some breakfast. We were warned when we ordered that the "poached" eggs would be hard but still ordered an Eggs Benedict and their Healthy ish Breakfast. The meals were okay and decent value for money but could be elevated massively if they can learn how to poach an egg.

We will return but will probably avoid anything involving their version of...
