Hidden gem of a cafe on Mill Street. The food is wonderful quality and served with a smile. It's cosy with a lovely friendly atmosphere. I always call here while my car is in the garage - highly recommend the breakfasts and the muffins!

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are lovely. New management with a new menu being introduced alongside the old one, with a nice new variety. Lovely, clean food with good portions.

Reluctantly leaving this review as it’s not even worth a 1 star! However here I am :) If you ever wondered what AWFUL customer service looks like then look no further than here. I’ve never seen 3 more miserable people, service with a smile certainly wasn’t on the menu. All 3 were the definition of rude!

We ended up cancelling our order and leaving to which the owner/chef was trying to fiddle only giving us half a refund whilst the wife was continuing to be rude to us over his shoulder. Followed by a girl who looked like the pot collector joining the wife on shouting across the counter infront of the other 4 customers. Everyone looked disturbed by the staffs behaviour leading to one lady saying “how awful I won’t be coming back here after witnessing that”.

Needless to say this place should be given a wide birth. Save your money!!!

NOTE to remember * they don’t...

PLEASE dont waster your money, visited this place today, I am keen to support local small businesses in these hard days. Some people dont deserve any help. The tables were uncleaned, as it was lunch time and a busy oeriod this could be somewhat excused, I placed for a light lunch for 2, we got 2 standard coffees, 1 jacket potato, 1 bowl of souo and a roll and 2 scones. We were charves ÂŁ18.50.. because we choose to support local business I didnt challenge the price, when the food came we received a medium potato with watery value baked beans and a very very small bowl of insipid tasteless soup, rhe bread roll waa actually a 2 inch slice of part baked bagette and a catering portion of butter, the scones were shop bought and seemed dry and stale, wish we would of looked at the reviews....Steer clear pf this joint...its awful...staff were rude and...

I have given 1 star as there was not an option to do a minus. Went in for lunch, the staff were not welcoming at all, i ordered beef lasagne, (i did think it was the veg lasagne as there were more peas than beef), it arrived in a dish with a lot of coloured liquid, it was bland and when I got to the centre it was frozen, i informed the staff and a man came out of the kitchen and told me it was impossible as nothing in there was frozen, I asked him to put his finger in so he could feel for himself but he refused, he then sent out a young girl to offer my daughter and myself a free coffee which we refused as we did not want another drink, the coffee by the way was lovely, as we left there was no acknowledgement from any of the 3 staff, I for one will not return and would definitely...
