Cafe on the Quay — Restaurant in England

Ordered a Sausage Bap to go and a tea. Was mortified that the lady who made my Bap did NOT wash her hands after handling an object just outside the door. And she used her bare hands to slice the sausages onto the Bap.. (No fork to hold it with) Just a knife and her bare hands...🙈 Didn't want to say anything at the time to save me from embarrassing myself as people were already eating at their tables! I thrown it away in the bin as soon as I was outside! (waste of money) Enjoyed my tea though 😊and a beautiful location...

I absolutely love this place - I have been three times since there have been new owners, new look, new everything. It's an amazing little cafe, good position, decent views, outside seating, covered and uncovered. The service is always friendly. There's a great choice on the menu of breakfast items, pannini's, burgers and more. It's all made fresh, quick service, delicious and really well priced. I think this place is great for what it is. It is definitely the place to go if you want no fuss, straight forward, very quick and not too expensive. Welcome was friendly enough, decent cup of tea and a fair view of the river. No choice of brown or white bread, it is just white and I prefer my scrambled eggs done in a different way so that they are fluffier. But it was still a pretty decent lunch and I would certainly go here again when I want straight forward...
