Beautiful, small indie café, quirky interior full of art with tables that are shared amongst customers. Owner was super friendly and chatted happily with the customers who were a mix of regular locals and tourists (like me!) as she took orders and made the food. I had the Turkish eggs which were out of this world! Perfectly poached eggs, homemade flat breads and the right amount of spices to wake you up and get rid of any lingering hangovers 😂 I also took a cake to takeaway which was 👌🏼 Such an amazing array of cakes that you can tell have been made with a real passion for baking. Deffo worth a visit if you are nearby, just gutted I didn't find this place earlier into my stay

The food was great. The menu is relatively small, but with plenty of variety in both unusual and classic offerings. Both dishes provided an excellent combination of quality ingredients for a satisfying meal (decent portions, too). It's not cheap, but worth the price. The drinks were nice as well - good coffee. Also, friendly and helpful staff.

Awful experience. Was spoken to rudely and made to feel extremely uncomfortable throughout our whole experience here. We bought two drinks each and would have purchased food if we hadn't been treated so horribly. The owner clearly didn't want us there as students. Clearly hasn't realised she is running a business in a University town, dominated by a student population. Openly and loudly stated to another customer that she didn't want students in there, whilst we were sitting right next to them. Actually asked to leave whilst still drinking our second drinks to allow for other customers to come in, despite nobody even arriving to need our table. A real shame as the building and interior was lovely but will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend any student to go in as we are clearly not welcome, even when we are trying to support our small, local,...

This small, personable and stylish cafe/pantry is the hidden gem of Penryn!! Situated in the center of Penryn high street, you will find the most delicious food, cakes and coffees but also the most wonderful woman greeting you - Ruth, host and chef extraordinaire!! We love this place for so many reasons. Our fav meal is the tasty (and generous) Huevos Rancheros!!

Also the most amazing dish Ruth calls Caponata which combines a succulent aubergine stew with hummus and homemade focaccia bread… drooling now. Ruth is an absolute genius in the kitchen, and such a lovely lady, making everyone welcome with her charm and gentle stylish manner. Also she makes the most delicious selection of cakes, coffees and pastries… Go, feast and you’ll not...
