Warm welcome from great staff, interesting friendly locals, lovely open fire which adds to the already comfortable ambience, 3 real ales on offer, drinks & bar nibbles fairly priced, although food is'nt available they do'nt object to customers bringing chips in from the fish & chip shop up the road. This is truly one of the best pubs i've ever had the pleasure of visiting, in my 40yr love affair of the great...

Great local bar, nothing too fancy. Warm atmosphere and roaring fire in the winter, brilliant beer garden in the summer. Live music occasionally too I believe. Good drinks prices, bar snacks, one pool table, a dartboard, and always full of locals. Dog friendly as well. A great shout for a drink on the regular, or if you're just...

Great place on Sunday lunch, with free offerings of finger food, sausages, quiche, pork pies, garlic bread, nits and crisps to accompany the great British beer - Jail ale from Bodmin.
