Situ catered at our wedding in March and we have only good things to say about the experience from start to finish. At our first meeting, Sham really listened to our vision and we knew his food, his style and his approach was exactly what would bring our family centric, colourful, sharing atmosphere to fruition. Situ's heritage food lit up our tables and all allergies and dietary requirements were faultlessly catered for. Every single guest complimented the food and the room went quiet when everyone got stuck into their first mouthful (which is always a good sign). We also hired the Piaggio Ape for coffees whilst setting up the day before, during the wedding day and the morning after - it was a fantastic addition to the whole event and again, the speciality coffee was a huge hit with our guests. We would recommend Sham at Situ to anyone having a special event where the food sings to your soul! The flavours were next level and not something we could recreate with half as much love, at home. Thank you Sham and the team for making lots of bellies happy and being a hugely important part of our wedding...

Absolutely unreal delicious tasty food; I had the heritage dish of the day which was a warming sweetcorn broth / curry. I can't describe how delicious and indulgent the curry tasted, it melted in my mouth; the texture ever so silky. The dish bought a healing feeling to my mind body soul, and the flavours were beautiful.

If you ever can't decide whether to try something new and different to you, I highly recommend taking a chance at Situ, because the chance you take will get you the tastiest of meals; leaving feeling a refreshing full. Restaurant worthy (comparatively very pricy in alternative eateries) small plates for the price of a cocktail, or two. Go, go, go.

Thanks so much to the two beautiful owners, and lovely team, for creating an establishment that is new, exciting and welcoming to the local community. This gorgeous place is my new fav local! A must visit for all.

PS. the coffee is the best of the best, and the mocha is made using local bean to bar...

3 of us went out for a birthday brunch today and had a bloody good meal! We started with the keema saag and cheese toastie, which was quite literally the best toastie we’ve ever eaten. We all ordered a dish off the specials as well, all perfectly cooked, with insanely good use of spices and flavour. Great selection of soft drinks, but we went for a lovely white wine and some good local beers with the food, and finished off with some perfectly made coffees, nankhatal- cardamom shortbread, and the tastiest masala chai, which I couldn’t help but buy a bag of to take home with me. Wonderful service, super friendly and helpful staff, with a warm and welcoming vibe. Can’t remember the last time my mouth was so happy, we were all blown away by the whole experience and will definitely be making regular returns to try the rest...

Didn't expect to find somewhere like this at all but what an absolute gem of a find. Lots of places do brunch and the majority of places do the same old thing. I loved the heritage and story behind the food and my goodness was it delicious. We stayed in Penryn for two nights and ate here twice. Perfectly balanced food with really enticing flavours and beautifully presented. The drinks selection was excellent and loved the golden milk (bit of hark back to my childhood) and chai as well as some absolute knock out batch filter coffee. Service was friendly and prices were excellent. We absolutely loved this place.

SITU, Penryn – worth the visit, even with a hiccup We really liked SITU – it has a great vibe, relaxed and welcoming, with lovely people running it. There was a bit of a mix-up with our order: they’d run out of chicken but didn’t mention it until ten minutes after we’d ordered, and then it was another 25-minute wait – but, hey, it was a lazy Sunday. To be fair, they were clearly sorry and brought over a slice of banana bread on the house as an apology (pictured – a nice touch). Despite the delay, we’d definitely go back. It’s a place with character, and they’re clearly trying to do things right.
