Cakes N Shakes - Thornaby — Restaurant in England

Unfortunately had a bad experience here we bought 3 desserts which came to over £16. Two of them (cookie dough pie) had a smell of fish… never experienced anything like that with a dessert. Rang the shop to let them know and they didn’t offer us a refund or anything, instead asked us if we’d been cooking fish at home (??) and told us non of the other slices smelt in the shop. The puddle pot was dry honestly not good enough for the price we paid. Won’t be back I’m afraid, everything looks amazing but taste...

lovely food and nice set up. would highly recommend and this will be my regular spot. Just ordered donuts from them and they are great! A must try.

The best place for desserts in Teesside! We've been customers ever since they've opened and they never ever disappoint! We've just tried their doughnuts and it's a straight 10/10 they just melt in your mouth.... Light, airy and fluffy and just delicious! Staff are great and friendly and make you feel welcome! I wouldn't go anywhere else....
