Myself and my friend popped in one Sunday afternoon, just while we were waiting for a train at nearby Thornaby Station, and came across one of the best and friendliest pubs we'd ever been in! The roast dinner carvery was absolutely amazing, and the music (indie pop/rock, Oasis etc) was right up our street! The food portions were so generous, the food quality was first class, and everyone was so friendly! Help yourself to unlimited trimmings, and sauces! Really lovely pub, frequented by friendly locals. Myself and my husband popped in for a bite to eat, we traveled from Manchester to get away for a few days we decided to stop for a bite to eat we didn't know where to go so thought we would try this place , On arrival no staff were wearing masks and also no track and trace shocking I must say, some customers where saying the food is cheap but edible, how wrong they where, we ordered the parmo my fave but obviously they didn't have a clue how to cook this, absolutey disgusting give you a tip go to Middlesbrough the best parmo you will ever taste!! Fantastic service throughout, booked in the beer garden Thursday 15th April. Very quickly taken to our seats by the Manager Caroline and the team were there to take our order. Clean and spacious, socially distanced plenty off heaters on the walls if it gets chilly and it was monitered through the day. The team were polite, quick and chatty, The chef worked his socks off too, not only cooking the meals but delivering them as well, (the food is delicious).
