I recently had the pleasure of dining at Caraway Cafe and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for the brunch on a sunny day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of without being overbearing.
Now, let's talk about the food—simply outstanding! Each dish was a masterpiece, full of rich flavors and beautifully presented. I started with the Paneer Tikka which was perfectly seasoned and melted in my mouth. For the main course, I had the Dal makhani , Biryani and Naan and it was nothing short of perfection. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were bold yet balanced, and the portion size was just right. Don't even get me started on the Mocktails , both were just perfect and complimented the unforgettable meal.
Overall, its a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and exceptional service. Whether you're going for a special occasion or just a casual night out, this place will exceed your expectations. I'll definitely be coming back soon! Many more menu...
Read moreI picked Caraway Cafe on map as a midway meeting point between Reading and Knebworth to meet a friend. It was a random choice but it ended up being an excellent choice. Small vegetarian indian cafe/restaurant with good atmosphere, polite staff and great food at good price. We ordered Paneer starters, caraway chai and some mixed parathas. All 3 were excellent. Restaurant was fairly busy and we were given a table for 2. We struggled with table space as we had laptop and notepads open for discussion. The staff kindly moved us to a bigger table the moment there was some availability. The lady staff and Gurjeet were very polite. Even though its not near me, I will be going back with my family very soon. A modern and clean toilet was another highlight. It always scores an extra point for me. A public paid car park is within 2-3 minute...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant 4 times since it opened about 6 weeks ago. The quality of the food has been reliably delicious each time. Some things we had: aloo tikki chaat (golden fried potato cake stuffed with lentils, & topped with chickpea curry, yoghurt and tamarind chutney); paneer tikka wrap with masala fries; papdi chaat; pani puri (crispy balls stuffed with chickpeas and potatoes and served with little carafes of exquisite mint and guava water). The vegetable biryani is flavoursome and satisfying. They cater well for vegans - almost all the menu can be made vegan, though to be sure, ring the day before (so they can, e.g. swap out the yoghurt). This is a vegetarian restaurant, the service is friendly, and it is family-run. Advisable to book at peak times - it is popular, and with...
