Fego in Gerrards Cross is a stylish and welcoming spot that consistently delivers on atmosphere and speed. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual coffee or a leisurely brunch, the setting is bright, modern, and relaxed—perfect for everything from a solo visit to a social catch-up.
One of Fego’s standout strengths is the speed of service. Orders arrive promptly and efficiently, making it ideal if you’re on a schedule or simply appreciate not having to wait too long.
However, while the service is fast and competent, the overall customer interaction can feel a little distant. Staff tend to fulfill only the minimum expected, which may be a reflection of the café’s payment system: a self-service barcode system that includes an automatic service charge. While convenient, this setup can inadvertently reduce the incentive or opportunity for more personal, attentive engagement from the team.
A minor but notable point is the front door—the closer needs adjusting, as it tends to slam shut, which can be jarring in an otherwise calm environment.

Read moreI have periodically been to Fegos over the years, I have always thought it was top quality and worth the money. Sadly tho today the dream is over. We had a Club Sandwich, the Smash burger and a Burrito bowl.
The Club Sandwich £11.25 - Was ok, pretty average, something I could easily make myself for much less.
The Smash Burger £13.95 - To be honest very very disappointed at the quality of this burger, it certainly wasn’t smashed, it also didn’t taste particularly fresh, a very basic burger, for £14 a bit of a rip off.
Burrito Bowl £16.90 - this was by far the most disappointing, half cooked sweet potato but worse than that unbelievably chewey Brisket, now I’ve had a lot of Brisket, never had I had to chew the brisket until my mouth was tired from chewing. For the extra £5 I really think that is extremely overpriced.
So unfortunately overall we spent £60 and walked away throughly disappointed, if it was £40 then maybe justified however Fego is on the top end side of price point for food, i personally would expect a much higher quality.
Then on top of everything they pop a 12% service charge on which I personally believe is totally unnecessary
Sadly I don’t see us...

We received our drinks about 10 minutes later which was fine and by this time it had gotten significantly busier it got to about 940 and we still hadn’t received our food but tables all around us had except for another couple with two kids who seemed to be In The same situation. We left at 945 when a table of five next to us who had ordered pretty similar to us ( who we actually knew as work acquaintances) received their food! We got no explanation and I don’t think they even realised what had happened the table with the young children were just as confused and furious as us ! So so disappointing. Anyone know anywhere else...
