Wasn’t really sure what to rate this place as I had a bitter sweet experience. Went with some friends to experience a nice local Italian as the place always looks so busy. Prebooked our table. As we arrived there were barely any serving staff. We were made to wait 10 mins at the door standing awkwardly even though our table was ready? All tables were TOO close together and were not at all socially distanced which was not very comfortable, to the limit where we could barely get into our seats due to tables behind us both sides (you need to rethink table structure). There was a big round table we could’ve been seated on instead but we were told it was reserved (no one showed up all evening). The waiter was quite rude and rushed every step of our dining experience. He honestly just made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed like we should just leave. For starter we ordered was a sharer cheese board between us and we were shocked when it arrived to see how tiny it was for £16.50 and only 2 small slices of bread and barely 6 small slices of cheese with it between 3 of us? so disappointed with that. We had to ask for more bread and the waiter was like “more? Are you sure?”… YES otherwise we wouldn’t be asking! Food took ages to arrive overall, we were rushed by the waiter but then the food was delayed? Mains were delicious, pheasant and black truffle tortellini was exquisite. Good portions, great flavours and nice presentation. Desserts were just not nice, tasted very store-bought and not worth the money unless you’re getting a Tiramisu (which they ran out of). Overall, would I go back there again? No. Would I recommend it? Probably not. Better Italian restaurants out there to explore.

A solid ok for this Italian restaurant, in Gerrards cross. I was served this beige offering despite asking for a completely different pizza. The waiter decided to take it upon himself to do his own thing with the order. By the time it arrived I couldn’t be bothered and was just grateful for some food. Probably go again and try another dish, and perhaps spell out the order. The pizza was ok. Nothing special, I’ve had better in london ( see my other reviews)

I must say the food was lovely, the atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly. The only tiny thing I’d like to see improved is the garlic bread, it was a bit hard and not really flavoursome. When mentioning the dessert we had was cold they immediately took it back and warmed it up for us. Highly recommended!

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. The service was terrible with the staff basically ignoring us, prices were a mixture of average to over-priced, the small amount of food that we were actually served wasn't great and we ended up having to leave after waiting over an hour and a half for our mains! Needless to say, we will not be returning.

We had originally planned to go to Pizza Express, but after seeing this smaller, independent Italian across the road we thought we would support a local business instead, unfortunately, on this occasion, this turned out to be a big mistake. We were greeted quite coldly by the first waiter, service was fairly slow and it took a while for us to get our order in, although we could see people the waiters knew arriving after us but getting served first. We shared a starter which was priced at £8 and was essentially some fried, sliced mushrooms in garlic, quite different from the description and certainly not worth the price. An hour went past after originally ordering and there was no sign of our main meals, I had tried asking various waiters where our food was only to be told they would check, but they never came back - seemingly avoiding us afterwards. Whilst we were waiting I could see staff arguing by the kitchen and other customers were asking to speak to the manager and didn't look happy, it was a terrible atmosphere. In the end I walked over to the till area near the kitchen so I could get some response, the staff scattered and said they would check again. Several frustrating requests for our food and an hour and a half after first ordering, we were told our food would be with us in a few minutes. However, by the time the food eventually arrived we had to leave, we had been at the restaurant so long that we risked missing a film we had booked. When we refused the food because we needed to leave the Manager explained they wouldn't charge us for anything we had previously ordered, which was the only good bit of service we received the whole night. Unfortunately it was too little, too late - we left with empty stomachs and a bad taste...

I normally have dinner here, with my daughters, family or friends. The service and food are normally really good, hence I keep returning. However today, I went for lunch. Disaster. None of the normal staff. It was like it’s changed hands. Was with a friend who also comes here. Well we ordered 2 Tomato garlic pizza breads. Starters. Normally loaded with tomato sauce on top and and plenty of garlic. Today was really skimpy. Circular swirls of tomato sauce and garlic just in the middle. That was the second noticeable change. Third noticeable change. Milanese Pollo. And King Prawn 2 mains. Well the chicken Milanese was half the size and the pasta Napoli, was so hot and smelt of Brown Sauce. The Napoli sauce was off. And warmed in a microwave. As there is no way you can make fresh pasta that hot and it could burn your tongue. My colleague had King Prawns. The mixed veg, looked like it came from a tin. We really were surprised.

We questioned a member of staff, if it had changed hands? They said no. Then I questioned and asked for the chef to taste the pasta Napoli. The waiter said, would you like him to make you another one. Which gave me the answer I didn’t want. We just got the bill and left.

Sad to say. You have lost some customers. We would never have guessed a place we go to regularly. Has got that bad. Definitely...
