Cardamon, Northampton — Restaurant in England

I usually have a fantastic meal/takeaway here however, tonight was absolutely terrible!! I asked if the food was being cooked from fresh to be told yes. I was NOT told that the waiter was cooking it!!! I ordered a chicken Dhansak to receive a watered down curry sauce that tasted of tomato and no lentil in sight and the three massive chicken chunks were over cooked and dry! The pilau rice was white and although cooked correctly tasted of NOTHING ! I have complimented this restaurant to my friends/family but will not do so again. I telephoned and asked for a full refund and await the response. It is with great shame that I declare this place as RUBBISH! Please employ cooks/chefs and do not ask waiters to cook for you as your restaurant will NOT...

i was so pleased to see that this fantastic restaurant is still in business i have ordered food many times in the past and have been delighted with the quality of the food and the service i had lost confidence over this covid period and had my own battle with covid but i am pleased to say that i placed a order again this Saturday and i got again fantastic service on time the food was hot and of the highest quality there was plenty in a portion and well priced thank you for the experience and i am happy to be back my wife and i enjoyed every mouth...

Beautiful food, not oily, well seasoned (I personally like very spicy, this was mild, however very flavourful.) I had the Lamb Biryani and although off menu, my Mum had a Chicken Korma, as she cant handle spicy. Service was a bit slow, but this was a Sunday afternoon, so if you are in no rush....it is worth a visit for their special. Staff polite and clearly explained the special offers.
