Bombay Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in England

One of the better takeaways in the area. We’ve used Bombay Palace for several years almost weekly. Every now and again the food will arrive a bit oily or the rice too watery, I think it must be when the main chef is away.

I’d have given 5 stars if they’d sort their chips out. Goodness knows how many times they’ve been reheated and fried but they’re just greasy potato fat sticks. We’ve moaned once about this to them and they denied they were reheated but they were.

Apart from the chips 9/10 the rest of the food is spot on and delivery is usually under an hour, pleasant delivery...

Service fantastic. Food has never disappointed. Have been going here for years and every single time, the food is spot on. Decor is dated but we find it part of the allure. They no longer serve alcohol but you can bring your own. They also do take out and delivery. Prices reasonable, considering the exceptional quality of the food. I eat curry .. A LOT .. My job entails one or two nights in a new town in the UK most weeks, and my hobby is finding nice curry to eat on expenses! :) I can't recommend this place highly enough. Tandoori chicken to die for and such finely balanced curry dishes I'm considering moving to Northampton! Watch out for the fantastic deals on Tue and Wed night.
