Disappointing Experience at Castle Tea Rooms, Bridgnorth We visited after midday, although the cafĂ© was busy, we managed to find a seat. Our order was simple: a large pot of tea for two and two jacket potatoes with tuna. The tea arrived promptly, but the food took over 40 minutes to appear. Despite several apologies from staff, there was no explanation for the delay, and our tea had gone cold long before the food arrived. When the jacket potatoes finally came, they were lukewarm and clearly microwaved—not oven-roasted as one might expect. No salt, pepper, or condiments were provided, and we had to request multiple sachets of mayonnaise just to make the tuna topping palatable. Let’s just say The Spud Bros and Spudman can sleep easy tonight, no competition for ÂŁ23.40! To add to the disappointment, my sister needed the toilet but found the only ladies’ loo occupied. A staff member suggested she use the men’s instead, which felt inappropriate and poorly managed. We had high hopes based on recommendations, but sadly, the experience didn’t live up to them. Two stars for the effort, but we won’t be rushing back.

Just visited this cafe in Bridgnorth for breakfast, they had a fair amount of gluten free options like scones, cakes, sandwiches and jacket potatoes. The older lady came over to me immediately when she saw me hovering by the till đŸ€Ł explained what I could eat and seated us. I had a bacon and cheese sandwich and it was lovely! The bread did crumble so a knife and fork was needed but the bread was really nice and didn’t taste dry like a lot of bread does! I would 100% recommend a visit đŸ„°

What a little gem! Tucked away from the main High Street so a lot quieter. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. You can eat in now despite what their Google page says (I think theu need to update it). Food was fantastic. Lots of it and a good price too. Well done all for a great little business. We will definitely be back for more soon 👍

Cant wait to go again. Well done for everything lovely...
