Tried to come here for coffee and breakfast on my way to work, advertised as opening at 7am, I arrived about 7.20am not open. Not a great start for a new business to not open when they advertised? Thought maybe it was an off day, so next day I try again. Same thing. Someone obviously doesn't really care about their business. I instead went across the road to Miranda's Coffee Shop. What a blessing in disguise! Huge menu, with everything home made. I had the best sourdough toast with homemade marmalade. Miranda said not only does she make the marmalade herself but the sourdough is local as well! Who knew good sourdough could be found in Trowbridge! I also had a piece of carrot cake to enjoy on my lunch break and it was divine. So next time you think of going here, go across the road to Miranda's instead. Warm, welcoming, using homemade local foods and open when they say they are! As I was leaving, saw the chap go to open Ceasar's at gone...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed by my experience at Caesar’s the other day, when we came in it seemed nice and it wasn’t busy at all, maybe 5 other people. I ordered 2 panini’s and 2 drinks, the drinks came in a reasonable time but the panini’s took around 30-40 minutes to come out, during this time 2 new customers came in and ordered food and there food came out almost immediately. One of the panini’s I ordered was for my partner and he got ham in his, I ordered a panini without meat as I am vegetarian. I was shocked when both came out with ham in, this was a very silly mistake, and if I was a different person I may have taken more action, however I’m still frustrated by this. I even watched her write my order down and she wrote it correctly, so why was I served the complete wrong thing? Additionally the toilets looked as if they were a storage cupboard with random things chucked in there. Won’t...
Read moreI was tired of the same old same old in Trowbridge for breakfast so I thought I would try Ceasers in the North Gate shopping area. My breakfast choice was Huevos Rancherous with chipolata sausage and avocado and a decaf Americano coffee. First impressions were wow love the colours of the food. Very simple ingredients simply cooked, the flavours and soft textures combined with the crunch of the toast go great together. The atmosphere is none fussy your left alone to your own thoughts and conversations, the music was at a the perfect level for both. The menu is perfectly limited to which enables a quick table service. There is hot as well as cold food, sandwiches toasties cake. And of course great coffee to have in...
