Wow! Truly excellent pub. Only open around 3 years (formerly a night club), but as a proper traditional pub. NO food, but offers live and recorded music, pool and a convivial atmosphere. Great place for well kept beer (Inc 2 vegan friendly ones). Usual only one on cask - presently from the Plain Brewery - but served in superb condition. Absolutely wonderful pub! The land lady is very welcoming and it has a lovely friendly atmosphere. There beers are kept really well and the prices are very good overall. Pool table and a juke box, and live music weekly - definitely worth checking out for either a cheeky afterwork pint when you've got off the train, or for a longer session in the evening with chums (you'll also make friends here, the locals are lovely!). I ordered smothered bbq chicken, the chips were stale the chicken was over cooked and only half a breast didn't eat the peas but there was more of them then anything else. I also ordered sticky toffee pudding which was a cheap and crapply made (looks like the cheap ones you get out of a tin) didn't even taste of toffee more like ginger! Waste of money just typical...
