Namaste Trowbridge — Restaurant in England

Really slow service, 80 minutes after ordering and was suppose to be 30. Famous Indian hospitality (at least everywhere I have been) was not the case here, I was stood waiting for a while with no update until someone totally different came out to tell me the food was not ready yet. Sadly the food was not worth the wait either.

The fact that I was apparently out of the delivery area was a bit annoying but given the reviews I thought I'd try this one anyway.

The chicken in the madras was so dry and stringy I couldn't eat it.

It was overly hot (spicy) for a madras and the flavour overpowered with spice from too many 🌶 in the sauce.

Personal preference I prefer a smoother sauce but many of the Indians I've tried over the past 6 months have gone to this thick sauce with allot of things added to it, when the flavour is there and the chicken is cooked right I can get over that somewhat but sadly this was not a good visit and I won't be returning.

Namaste really does pull out all the stops.. I went to namaste for a works birthday meal. I called and explained it was my birthday beforehand and also explained I am Vegan. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by happy faces. The host sat us down and asked for our order etc. The food was very well presented and the taste was define. One of my party had never had Indian food before and order a lamb kebab. After she tried it, she loved it but found it too hot for her. We explained this to the host. He instant delt with the situation and gave her a few new options. This is living proof that the level of service is very high. When we got the bill it was very good value.
