Chicken & Blues - Bournemouth — Restaurant in England

With the approach of lunchtime on the horizon this meant only one thing. I whipped out my smart device and placed an online order for an ASAP collection. Like a crazed animal clucking for chicken I sent my transit van billowing through the intensive traffic. As I approached the high street, I saw the turquoise sign for chicken and my mouth began to fill with saliva! I managed to find a parking space and screech to the safety of the pavement where I jumped from my transit and began running through the people. By this point my mouth was overwhelmed with saliva that almost felt like it had turned into the venom suit from spiderman and put my chin in a headlock. I burst through the doors hissing like a predator and battled through the delivery drivers to the counter. I shouted out my order In the hope of a quicker in and out procedure. The lady serving me could see I was suffering from Chicken and Blues withdrawals and quickly handed me my order. I grappled it from her and cradled it in the saliva headlock as I ran away into the sunset.

Seriously though, the food is proper tender. In my opinion the Boscombe store location was better offering live entertainment outside...

I found one member of staff here totally lack of any respect towards a very good and regular customer, so much so that my approx £400 a month (roughly £100 a week) was lost in 10mins,obviously not a sum that bothers the business to lose,shame,no call back from the owner despite name and number left with staff. The chicken was dried out and like cardboard, staff explained that the water used to keep food moist had dried out so the item continued to cook,I could not eat it,but finished a coke and portion of chips, when I tried to pay for those two items I could not get the attention of the staff so I explained that as they knew I had a shop near and I came in every day to include Sundays that I would pay in the morning when I came in for my usual meal and left. The next day I ordered the same expecting some form of "sorry" I got grief from the stand in manager about how I had not paid for the drink and left????? completely overlooking the fact that I was served with chicken I could not eat or that I...

Been here before the whole large-scale management/ renovation changes and upscaling after their rise in popularity. Was good then and is still good now. Recently went and had their wraps, very large and definitely filling. Gave off burrito vibes because of the size. Wrap was stuffed full to the max, flavorful and chicken inside was still crispy. Homeslaw still as good as before, creamier than your average acidic tasting coleslaw. Drinks were good, I had the cake shake. Nice and sweet, almost dessert like, you can tell the fudge cake in the shake is of high quality, though I wouldn't say I'd buy it again purely due to price. Chips were very crispy and nicely salted. Service was fast and friendly, and atmosphere was chill due to the bluesy music. Another plus is that they are a small restaurant, so service is relatively fast regardless of it being a full house.
