Taste Buds — Restaurant in England

What a lovely effort the owner made to accommodate me and 2 children who were learning about the restaurant industry and doing practical research. Trouble was he was so intent on talking to everyone that he forgot a part of our order so he had to be reminded (which took time as he was emphasising welcoming his customers) and therefore we had no time to eat the dish I chose. Despite his efforts to give us time, the best learning for my students was seeing that even though attention to customer is really important, customer service is mostly about delivering the goods, so hence the review stars. Also as part of the lesson we also compared the same dish at McDonalds to the same dish at TasteBuds- bacon bap/sarnie and hashbrowns, with drink. The price difference was quite huge, with Tastebuds being reasonable expensive and of course McD being relatively cheap, but unfortunately the food wasn't so much better. I recently dined at Taste Buds, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a highly professional and welcoming staff, whose attention to detail and warmth immediately set the tone for the afternoon. Their balance of attentiveness without being overbearing made the service not only efficient but extremely pleasant. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. Firstly, i would like to say that i can not fault the service as it was very good, excellent infant But the only reason why I gave a 2 star on the food was that I asked for a smoothie and when it came out it was watery like a squash drink and I was told it was because I didn't have the banana to thicken it up, but regardless of that it should of been thicker with the mango and strawberry's, but I could not see any strawberry. Then I asked for a bagel with avocado and hullomi, and it came out with the smallest amount of avocado, and it would appear to be one slice of Hullomi cut in half. I am not saying I expect massive amounts but the price I thought I could of done better doing it myself at home and cheaper.
