This is one of tye worst experience I had in my life , which was full of discrimination.
Yesterday On the 16th September 2023 I had unprofessional and bad experience at coffee 1 in 1 Canal Walk, Swindon SN1 1LD, town centre, I went to coffee 1 with my mate to have a coffee in the morning at 11:29am, then while I was taking my order from the cashier and try to ask the lady about the chai latte and other drinks, the lady was with black/brown short hair she was angry and give me bad manners, she was serving me with bad morales and anger, then after i paid i was annoyed and upset then i asked her are you in mood or something and why you are angry and serving me with bad manners, [then she answered well its very busy in the coffee shop today], then i told her well that it doesn't mean you have to put your anger on my and im a Customer here to to get good service and enjoy my coffee, [then she was arguing with me, (then her colleague which she was full of tattoo on her hands and arms she starts shouting at me and telling me you don't need to do this here), i replied to her "Excuse me well she is the one was serving me with anger and i was asking her to stop that and now you showing at me as well Defending her", then she was arguing with me as well and she told me well we are not serving you and you have to leave the shop, "i was very Surprised that she was asked me to leave the shop when i already orderedand paid, then i told her what i have done? and is that all because i asked the girl with short hair who ws working in the cashier to stop putting her anger and bad manner on me while she was serving me?", (then the lady with tattoo on she replied and said we are not serving you and your mate and you have to live) " i told her im not leaving and call me your manager because i want to make a complain", ( then the lady with tattoo on she answered saying well im the manager and im not serving you and you have to leave", i was shocked that the lady with tattoo on she was the manger and she cancelled my order, then she asked me to put my card in so she can refund my money back, the manager was Defending her bad manners colleague and standing with her discriminate against me when i haven't done anything wrong and over that she Cancelled my order,she don't want to serve me and she asked me to leave, and this happened front of everyone in the shop while was full of customer and it was long queue of customers behind me which was absolutely embarrassing. this is absolutely unacceptable because this very clear discrimination and not fair at all, whe i went to coffee 1, i really thought they will be having a nice and professional service such as Starbucks And costa a coffee, but unfortunately the stuff who work at coffee 1they are racist, arrogant, unprofessional and they are full of discrimination. i haven't done anything wrong and i don't deserve to be treated badly like that, even my mate he haven't talked she asked...
Read moreIf I could give this coffee shop less than one star then I would When I arrived there was only one member of staff working, she kept on asking for one more second. In all I ended up waiting for approximately ten minutes to be served . The coffee when it arrived was luke warm at best, when this was mentioned I was told I should have asked for extra hot coffee. When I did receive the replacement it was at a temperature it should have been in the first place. I ordered a ham hock and cheese panini. When I opened it at one end there was no ham and very little at the other. When this was pointed out I was told that even if I had a replacement there was no guarantee it would be any better as it was how it was received from the supplier, there was no apology . I asked for a refund for the £5.50 I’d paid this was agreed however my plate was thrown on the counter and it was obvious there was displeasure with my request. The member of staff was extremely rude and surly and the manager needs to undertake far better training on customer service If you would like a coffee shop with excellent choices, friendly staff and all round good value I would recommend Boswells on Regent Street. Read moreMy second review I've left for here. Gave it 1 star before thought I would try again as been so long but it was just as painful. I deleted my last post because it's clear now coffee1 is is incompetent at even their managers levels let alone the individual store. Went in on lunch other day to another big queue and 1 staff member on. Speaking to others this is a common occurrence here. Staff member seemed like they were about to collapse. Most food was gone, and everyone was irratible. There was also wet floor everywhere didn't realise we had a swamp in the centre of town. Rung head office to ask what was going on and was met by a really rude staff member called helen...hannah...something? i was too busy thinking karen who clearly didn't care. I heard her sigh and say something to someone else, you should have covered the mouth piece a bit more Karen. If your response to genuine customer concern is "its the shops fault" and "I'm unaware of issues" then you're part of the issue. It's like watching a dying patient everyone's scared to pull the plug on.
