A Hidden Gem - The Coffee House, Winsford
I stumbled upon The Coffee House in Winsford for the second time today but first time in actually visiting, and I'm thrilled to share that it exceeded all expectations. The ambience was both warm and inviting, boasting a modern yet slightly industrial aesthetic that outshines mainstream chains like Costa and Starbucks. The cleanliness of the place added to its appeal, making it a pleasant spot to unwind.
What truly sets this coffee haven apart is its attentive and welcoming staff. Their creative suggestions, like adding vanilla syrup to a chai latte, elevate the experience. My first sip of a white hot chocolate was not only delightfully hot but also presented beautifully, leaving a lingering taste that was nothing short of delicious. Even a sample of my mother's chai latte left me impressed, prompting me to extend my stay and indulge in another drink—an uncommon choice for me.
Despite being a bit out of the way for me in Sandbach, the store's accessibility and the availability of four hours of free parking nearby make it a worthwhile journey. The decision to explore somewhere new paid off, and I'm already planning my next visit. The menu promises more delightful surprises, and the extra effort to travel is undoubtedly justified.
Not only does The Coffee House offer a refreshing change from the usual chains, but it's also more budget-friendly. Surprisingly, the prices are lower than those of major coffee brands, leaving you with spare change for additional treats. I couldn't resist trying the white chocolate millionaire's shortbread, and it proved to be a wise choice. Fresh and generously sized, it was a perfect ending to my visit, ensuring that I'll be back for more. Highly recommended for those seeking a different, superior...
Read moreI'm a regular customer at CH Winsford. I've enjoyed my previous experiences where I feel I'm able to bring work colleagues, and do some important office work. Today was completely the opposite. Today there was a child who was not only climbing all over the furniture, but constantly screaming excessively. The staff did NOTHING to remind the parents of the child that the shop is not a play ground, and is primarily for adult use in a civilised manner. If children are attending then surely they should be required to behave, and staff should be telling all customers that there is an obligation to behave. If it was an adult then I'm almost certain they would be told to leave. I won't be attending...

The service was fast and the cakes/biscuits were also good. We will probably visit again when we're...
