Tucked away in the charming village of Corfe, this little bakery is an absolute treasure. While it’s not a sit-in spot, that hardly matters once you catch the heavenly aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries drifting out the door.

Corfe Village Bakery offers an impressive selection for a place its size — from classic crusty loaves to indulgent sweet treats, everything looks (and tastes) like it’s made with real care. Whether you’re after a quick sausage roll, a buttery croissant, or a generously filled pasty, you’ll find top-notch quality at prices that feel almost too good to be true.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help you pick out a local favorite — they make the whole experience feel personal and warm, even if you’re just popping in for a snack on the go.

If you’re visiting Corfe Castle or just passing through the village, don’t miss this bakery. It’s one of those rare places that combines old-fashioned charm, excellent value, and genuinely delicious baked goods. A must-stop for anyone with a love of proper,...

I'm not one to add negative comments to businesses. I just think leave them to it, but your treatment of me yesterday was quite upsetting. We both came in so polite and friendly, stepped aside nowhere near you or your fully covered counter to see what pasties you had on offer as there were no obvious signage on them. To be greeted with can you please put your mask on. My husband was wearing one and I had my lanyard clearly on display. To them be told, oh, can you step out side the door please. I'm sorry we decided after a lovely upbeat walk around castle feeling in such a lovely mood admiring your beautiful village to walk into your store to be greeted in such a manner. Had I bothered to read reviews and see how you treat us with traumas of our past which leave us unable to wear a mask I would never had even looked into your establishment. Your excuse of being unventilated in your replies is absolutely no excuse for the way in which we were greeted! No other establishment has treated me like that. Customer service training is...

HIGHLY PROCESSED JUNK FOOD OUTLET purporting to be a quaint village bakery. It is a simply awful offering. Putty like 'baps' made of monoglycerides, butylated hydroxyanisoles and Azodicarbonamide. Mass produced plastic wrapped fake baps filled with limp imported salad and processed meat. In the 21st century you expect fresh home made sour dough breads and pasties made in store or by excellent local artisan bakers like Winfrith Bakery. The Corfe Castle Bakery is a disgrace. Notwithstanding the health threatening food they bizarrely shoo healthy triple jabbed LFT'd potential clients standing 3 meters away to wear a face mask! Seriously the best bakery in the area. I had chicken and leek pasty, cheese and onion slice, florentine and chocolate/rum ball. The pasty… the best I have ever tasted! I recently visited Cornwall and was excited to try local pasties but honestly… none of the Cornwall pasties reaches anywhere near deliciousness of Corfe Castle Pasties. If you feel like I am wrong, please tell me where they have better and I am happy to go, thy and review. The cheese and onion slice…ulala…rude how good it is. Florentine was lovely and crunchy. Only the rum and chocolate ball was not up to expectations. There is no rum. Maybe you should change name to chocolate ball. It’s disappointing if one expect punchy rum taste and nothing happens. Other than that, this place is definitely worth of visit with empty stomach.

I'm overegging the review just to offset the mask obsessed ones. I actually entered without a mask accidentally (first time since the first lockdown). It's easily done when you've spent a few days wandering the great outdoors, but I sure as heck would have whacked one on my face if asked. As it was, I was scuttling for the door when the place began to fill up. This place is a 3.75-4.20 star kind of place. Serviceable looking sausage rolls and cakes for reasonable prices. Piles of solid looking mass produced loaf cakes to take home to relatives. We bought some dorset apple cake (dense, cinnamony and slightly dry) and a Lardy cake (giant). Staff were masked and lovely and polite.
