Corner Café — Restaurant in England

If I could I would not even offer a 1 star. ...gone throughout a number of ownership. The current owner and his rude daughters? I take it ? Or he loves to belittle his young staff ? Are So so rude and dismissive. Mad prices ..make a London cafe look cheap . Poor quality products and expensive prices . The service is shoking in this little run down pathetic excuse of an establishment. What really got me besides the bad service and bad quality of their ingredients..was rhe shocking service..well there is none !. Order a meal to be told sorry they don't have some of what was on the menu for the product...but yes we going to charge you the full price for ??? When enquiry why would you charge full price with missing items..I was told ...and yes don't come back ! Shocking. Don't you worry I would never set foot back in . Ps ...I run a bnb and suggested your place . That will now change to a place I would recommend to stay...

A cosy coffee shop that is conveniently located. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The menu had a nice variety and we weren't made to wait for long. However, when I got some tea to take away and tried to open the lid to cool it down, there was a small amount that spilt on me and scolded me. (VERY PAINFUL!) I had a classic English breakfast which was £7.90 I thought it was slightly on the high side for price but not not the worst if it’s good food. Food turned up and it was just about average, I had a coffee with it, went to pay and was stunned when I was told thats £9.40 please. Coffee wasn’t included in the price. I usually pay £6.50 for a much better breakfast that includes a coffee. Definitely won’t be returning, much more expensive than london and not...
