Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Went to buy coffee this morning was totally disgusted by their customer service! Girl serving called me rude because I had put money on the counter rather than putting money in her hand. In her hand! And because of that she had the audacity to blatantly say that I was rude. Worst was to come when I asked to speak to the manager regarding this matter, young lad making coffee who asked me to move away from where I was queuing earlier, came pretending to be the manager. I pointed out his colleague had no right to call me rude show arrogance and walk away and if this was how they served customers? When I asked if he was the manager he then decided to change his mind and said he was a supervisor.

I would strongly recommend Costa coffee at the Hitchin Road Stopsley branch to train the staff in the correct manner. To have shown arrogance and rudeness towards a customer because money was put on the counter and not in the hand is a utter disgrace! Pretending to be a manager when you are not is...

Dissappointed! Been there few times to grab a coffee before work, everything was just fine. Then few weeks ago I went there with my kid and ordered 2 drinks, I asked for hot choc not too hot and americano with few ice cubes. One was still too hot for my little one to drink and I not only didn't get the ice, I burned my tongue! I worked in hospitality and I understand how hard this job is, but those employers they act like it is some kind of punishment. I would rather drive to the Mall, where staff is always polite...

Found to be very direct staff there really raised voice at my partner one trip to their last week for not hearing through the covid screen.....went again today and again asked about mini lattes being in paper cups and said back to me can't put in real cups even though your paying more to eat in again very direct ....very disappointing for a brand new Costa store. Don't find other Costas like this one in gypsy lane lovely one in flitwick great. This one seems to have an attitude and from two different male...
