I'm a self confessed curry-holic, see my reviews from around the world. Firstly I ordered my food to be cooked with a reduced amount of ghee. My starter, chicken tikka with a bag of salad and pot of raita, the chicken was sitting in a pool of oil in the container! After careful decanting and patting with kitchen paper the food was moist and tasty. Main course of Chicken Pathia and a Keema naan with garlic and coriander. The ghee was leaking out of the lid, again upon removal I was presented with another accumulation of ghee on the surface. After more kitchen paper the food was very good, tasty and a depth of flavour, mild amount of heat and delicately balanced by coriander. Only one piece of chicken in the dish was hard, but still edible (the rest was nice and moist). The base of the naan bread was slightly over but still that's better than being under. Overall very friendly staff and reasonable prices for good tasty food. Go and enjoy yourself!

Probably the best dining experience in Luton. We've been coming here for years and it has just gone from strength to strength. Good value, maybe slightly more expensive than similar restaurants in the area but the price is very good for what you get. A real highlight is the sauces for the curries which are all really rich, thick, and creamy. I love a paneer dansak and recommend that. The poppadoms are good and there's a nice chutney tray. The naan breads are fresh, light, and flavourful. The staff are fantastic, always very helpful, polite, and full of a sense of humour and charm. This is always our first choice for curry.

The food was very flavoursome, the spices were spot on and we were served fairly quickly. I was expecting the homemade samosas as compared to the spring roll pastry samosas we were served as part of our starters. It would have been nice to specify this on the menu. I would recommend the saag panir, lamb bhuna, chicken karahi and potato curry served with naan bread. The staff were very friendly and customer service was excellent.

Fair warning, this place has abysmal customer service.

Last night, we placed a vegetarian order as we haven't had meat in seven years. What came instead was a chicken korma, which we both took a bite of.

Now, mistakes happen. Just call the restaurant and have it rectified right? Well, this is where this restaurant has shown it's complete lack of empathy and utter incompetence. Kitchen was closed last night so they refused to reopen to reorder, again, not unreasonable, though it did leave us without dinner for the night. The lady on the phone however, completely went above and beyond in apologising and reassured us that we could call today to have our food reordered without charge, and have it refunded. Completely unexpected and unasked for, as we would have been happy with the food or a refund, but it was her opinion that they make up for the really terrible experience.

Spent the day looking forward to this. Called up just now, and that offer that the lady repeatedly offered last night? Completely gone. I was told that I should just "forgive and forget". Each time I tried to express my disbelief, I was talked over and been made out to appear the villain in this exchange. I was passed over between two of the staff members, who both completely dismissed my experience, and just wanted me to make another order (AND PAY DESPITE NOT SUPPLYING OUR ORDER YESTERDAY!) and end the call.

I have worked in the customer experience industry for a decade. Not once I have experienced the utter contempt that this restaurant had to my complaint.

Food-wise? I grew up in a town (Southall) that put a lot more passion into their foods. This place is simply okay, just not worth the inflated prices, served with an attitude.

This evening I will instead go to Papa J's. A restaurant that serves real Indian food, and actually cares about...

Our first trip to UK from the US and I was very excited to try various Indian cuisine around London and Luton just before we flew on with our trip. The staff are classically educated, greeted us at the door with a hand shake, pulled the chair out for my fiancé before I could, were kind and respectful for the entire duration of our stay, and managed to slip in some well fitted humor when appropriate. The food was incredible to my palate, coming from someone who just came from a stay at Brick Lane in London the night before. My only reccomendation is to take the staff at their word when they say some food is spicy, because rest assured it will be! Though one of the dishes we ordered was initially quite hot, even for a spicy food connoisseur, the staff was happy to assist with reccomendations that would bring the heat down just a bit while preserving the flavor of the dish. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We may consider flying out of Luton on our next trip through to repeat this...

Not overly impressed with the food. Felt my meal lacked spice. Starter - despite a semi-impressive entrance of food sizzling on a hot plate - giving the suggestion the food is still cooking as it comes to you - the Tandoori Chicken which was on a bed of onions and served with a small salad (lettuce and a slice of cucumber) - I expected the food to be sizzling hot which it was not. The onions which I thought would have still been cooking on the hot plate were under cooked. My main - Salmon which was cooked in a tomato sauce - needed more seasoning for me. I love spicy food and feel I ordered the wrong main as there was no spice found here, so that was my error and no fault of the restaurant. I felt the salmon was pan fried first and had a dry texture to the cubes of salmon as if it had been over cooked. This for me, really let down the meal. Customer service was fine - other than despite me paying for the meal as a female, not sure why the waiter still proceeded to return my card to my...
