Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Sally Assistance Hound and I were well looked after here. I haven't given Costa another penny since I gave them the opportunity to rectify the loyalty points they knicked from me; they didn't even bother to reply, let alone fix the issue?

From the 1st of August 2023 the Costa company has changed the system to buy 10 (beans) and get 1 drink free from buy 8 (beans) and get 1 drink free. In the process they stole any free beans that you had accumulated at midnight on the 31st July. In my case they also stole from me a free drink I had legitimately earned. I mentioned this in the Costa and the poor bloke working behind the till said "I know. I am sorry. But it wasn't me it was the company! So loads of people are in the same boat and have been complaining to him... Yet another greedy corporation; shame on you!

It used to be a clean establishment, serving tasty and drinks (all with expensive prices) which were served by friendly staff...

Some of the customers can be obnoxious however and I was screamed at by some witches, several different times, for apparently stealing their seats or having a dog inside a food establishment. (Some mothers do have 'em; brought up in a gutter it seems!) The Costa staff defended me however and were...

Always amazingly stuffy sweaty and dirty.

It’s a pretty average franchised Costa coffee shop. Always a bit hit and miss on service, cleanliness and atmosphere. The plus points are that it’s open later on Sunday than the other shops (to 6 I think).

Coffee is ok but not great. Food is sandwiches and toasted sandwiches Cake and coffee are what they are about really.

Decor is standard Costa coffee style, so plenty of browns, greys and black but they do have big windows so...

Not impressed with this costa in Kettering Town, person serving very abrupt, the latte wasn't that great, the teabag thrown in a glass tall cup, and a small pot of water. Another girl seemed to be the general dogsbody and doing at lot of the work, and then to start hoovering while the shop is half full, was somewhat surprising. Don't think we will be visiting this costa again. Coffee with a snarl...
