Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I love Costa coffee, but with this shop it depends what staff are on! The other Friday the lady on the till was really busy catching up with her friend about varioys shenanigans and counting down until she finished work! She also complained loudly about the new packaging now the UK is not in the EU and I really dont like being called love by someone so very much younger than me and someone I dont know! But that is me! Then she continued her countdown to finishing work!! The coffee is marvellous, on the whole the shop is clean and I will carry on using Costa, but maybe venture...

Wonderful. An elderly lady fell outside of the Costa in Newport. A member of staff went outside to help. Sat her down outside and bought her a glass of water. A few minutes later they helped her inside and offered to give a hot cuppa, she said she would sooner go home. She was still a bit confused so a member of staff bought her car round and took her home made sure family and friends were there to help her. That's what I call going the extra mile. FANTASTIC...

Does anyone else think the cakes/muffins are just way too sugary. The muffins are inedible with all the sticky rubbish all over them. Other than that this place is cast from the same mould as all the other coffee chain shops i.e. monotonous. How can a cup of bland coffee cost £3? Come around to my place and I'll make you one for half as much, that tastes better and where you can moan all day long with me about the influence of American...
