Costa is normally a safe bet for coffee, but this time I didn't have any, so I cannot comment on this specific shop.
I had pastries, though, and in recent years I almost always found that Costa is not the best place to get them. This time made no exception: pastries were OK but they weren't fresh or crisp... taste was fine and I was in a rush to get some sugary food while on a long bike ride, but given the option I would not get them here again.

Well if you are one of the many people like me who take their laptops to coffee shops to work, and depend on the wifi, forget it. The wifi at Costa Pangbourne never works and despite being repeatedly asked, they do nothing to fix it. What's worse, the mobile (4G) connection in the centre of Pangbourne is zero so you are unlikely even to be able to use your phone to connect to the Net. Instead, just sit there and enjoy your...
