Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I can not tolerate caffeine and they don't care.

I can not tolerate caffeine. However every time and I mean everytime I go to this Costa and request a decaffeinated drink the staff do not use clean utensils in the coffee making process. Every time they use the same little coffee collection cups (don't know technical term) that are covered in the coffee from previous customers. If a customer request a decaffeinated drink there's a good chance it's for a good reason. If I was vegitarian and went to a restaurant I would not want my meal cooked in the same dirty pan that they had just cooked a steak in. So why is it acceptable to use the same caffeine contaminated filters, collection cups etc. I have also noticed this is same with the jugs when oat milk etc are requested Please get this sorted... If it wasn't for this it would be 5...

Honestly just had the best experience here. I came in with my little girl for a hot chocolate treat and Josh served us. He made my little girls drink a little cooler and put it in a take away cup for her (all without me asking because honesltly i didnt think of any of it, i would have made her wait for it to cool down 🤣) and he interacted with her while he was making the drinks and she wouldn't stop talking 🤣 it's little things like this that make me want to write a review because this kind of customer service is 5 star!...

Spend so much of my time here, truly amazing staff who run the place at a very high standard, they are welcoming and I always feel able to have a conversation with them. Amazing coffee, my particular favourite being Vanilla latte. Great access for disabled customers. Staff member Rob is especially amazing at his job, can't fault his abilities at all! Worth it regardless of the noise of people in Tesco below. Love a good people...
