Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Usually I see the same workers in this place and they are all very helpful and do their job as expected. I went here a couple of days ago and realised all workers where new here carried on ordering as normal; the guy got my drink wrong TWICE !…..I asked for a skimmed milk sugar free caramel iced latte….at first I saw him put full sugar in (I am also prediabetic) and mentioned it to me and he laughed said oh well and tried giving the the drink anyway!!!! I just looked at it so he said u want it made again (with an attitude as if I shudnt) I said yes so made it again WRONG AGAIN! This time I watched him make it with the wrong milk!!!! Even tho he was wrong I thought I can’t ask again so I said “u have done it wrong again but I will drink it” in a way that let them know I wasn’t impressed!!! So bad! I know sometimes people do make mistakes but the guy just didn’t care and wasn’t trying it was like he was just making whatever he felt like! It’s a shame I don’t know if this place has been franchised or what but I won’t...

I have been coming here for a long time now, sometimes twice or three times a day (slightly addicted yes I know lol). I’ve got to know all the staff well. They are always welcoming, smiley, chatty and we have a giggle at times. They are my Costa family. They all know my drink off by heart now so when they see me coming it’s automatically done! I usually take away but when I can I like to sit in with a friend as it’s so relaxing, with comfy chairs, a nice ambience and vibe. Always nice and clean too. I bring my dog Smokey in often too as they are dog friendly and he’s always made a fuss of and enjoys his puppy chino!...

Conveniently, it is not far from my home; the service is friendly and helpful. Being a wheelchair user, it has good access. The automatic door's a boon! The food is good; I like the egg mayo sandwich, but I prefer egg and cress; they sold it when it first opened over time, and they aren't on the menu. It's rather sad, but their cakes are fantastic!
