Greggs — Restaurant in England

Placed an order for delivery, arrived on time but one large coffee was missing, called Greggs and spoke to a apologetic member of staff and was told I would have to re-order to get the missing coffee (and pay another delivery charge) or get a refund for it from Just Eat. Tried to get refund from Just Eat but this proved to be impossible as I had ordered as a guest and just went round and round trying to get to customer services ( the contract phone number on my receipt just goes to an automated message giving Just Eats website) so gave up which I imagine is exactly what they want........ In my mind Greggs are fast becoming the "go to" place for breakfast and lunch. This time I visited the one in Houghton Regis and was not disappointed. Friendly staff as usual and the big selling point is value for money. A coffee on it's own is not cheap (although a steal compared to the big chain coffee houses), whilst a sandwich or pie is reasonably priced. Put the two together though and you get fantastic value. A good range of sweet pastries as well. The only down side is that if you're travelling, the take aways don't have toilets.....so you need one of the cafes for that. Overall however, a...
