Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Disappointing. I normally like Costa, but there was 9 of us who wanted a coffee and snacks and somewhere to sit for a while. It was 3.45 when we arrived and we were told they were closing at 4 so could only order take away and could not sit in. Have had very good service all but one member of staff,but that is not a problem if you are not happy its a waste of time working there,I have worked in catering for over 40 years+ happy eater little chef and our own cafe ,guest house so I know about this type of work,its not easy,but you have to bite your lip and carry on regardless,as they the say customer is always right,but always????the other staff are very friendly and helpful as it should be and the coffee is beautiful in flavour,it''s...

All but one member of the staff are amazing, however I have had to walk out twice now due to the rudness of one member of staff who seems to begrudge serving anyone 2 hours before closing. I shall not be giving them my custom anymore as long as they employ someone who thinks it is acceptable to be so rude to customers, no greeting and he nearly threw a tantrum when I asked for a cake and he even told me he was closing in 2 hours ! Costa needs to monitor their staff more closely...
