Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Great Costa Experience I had a really enjoyable visit to this Costa, and it stood out as one of the better ones I’ve been to. The service was quick and efficient, which made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. My order was taken straight away, and the drinks were prepared promptly without any unnecessary waiting around.

The café itself was very clean and well presented, which always makes a difference. Tables were tidy, the counters were spotless, and everything felt well looked after. It’s clear that the staff take pride in keeping the place in good condition, which adds to the overall comfort of the visit.

The coffee was excellent – just as you’d expect from Costa – smooth, rich, and made exactly to order. The food selection was also well stocked, with a good choice of cakes and snacks to go alongside the drinks. The staff were polite, professional, and welcoming, which really added to the atmosphere.

Overall, it was a great experience: quick service, clean surroundings, and quality coffee. Exactly what you want when stopping for a break, and I would definitely...

It's funny. This place is like some kind of WiFi Bermuda Triangle.

I've lived in the area for 19 years. 19 years! Nearly 20% of a century!

And in that time, the WiFi has been unfailing in its uselessness.

Back in the day (circa 2006 to 2018ish) it had an access point called 'coffee snobs'. Never worked. I tried on multiple laptops & phones over the years. After one refurbishment it was still appearing and the staff admitted they didn't even know where it (the access point) was in the building!

Nowadays they have a 'Costa Free WiFi' access point which either keeps throwing you off every couple of minutes or - as right now - doesn't work at all.

Just seems funny it could be so useless for so long.

Also close at 5pm which is bit...

The coffee is always very well made and I have yet to have any mistakes with my orders.

The staff are friendly, helpful and do a great job. Whilst the store can at times have moments where it gets a little busy, resulting in a slightly longer wait, these have never been over 5-10 minutes and ordinarily the drinks are ready within a minute or so.

There is indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor seating is very pleasant on a lovely day, whilst the interior is well looked after.

My only minimal gripe is that there are very limited points to charge up, the 3 available plug points servicing limited tables and resulting in, at times, limited access to charge up and work on the go. A couple of extra usb points or plug points would be...
