The reviews for Fego in Beaconsfield were great, so I had fairly high expectations — and overall, the experience was good. One thing I really appreciate is that the breakfast menu is available all day, while lunch starts from 12. The menu offers a wide range of options: breakfast classics, pancakes, burgers, salads — something for every taste. We arrived around 2:30 pm. and felt like having something more filling than breakfast, so we ordered burgers. They were tasty, though not particularly outstanding. However, the staff were very attentive — they listened to my request and served the bacon on the side, which I really appreciated. I’d give the food a solid 4 out of 5. I have a feeling their breakfast dishes might be even better, so I’d love to come back and try them next time. The service was quick and professional, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It’s easy to see that this is a popular local spot, and for good reason. I’d definitely recommend Fego Beaconsfield if you’re looking for a relaxed place with a varied menu, good coffee, and...

Just come back from Fego. Just wanted to take my friend for brunch/lunch. I was telling her how good the service and food is. The food I have to recommend. Unfortunately, a little disappointed as we ordered and continued to wait. Some time passed and we both had not had eaten all morning. Over 45mins of waiting and noticing people had come and gone, we asked how long for our food? We were then advised they had forgotten to put our order through. Apologetic and informed it would take 10mins. Eventually, it came and we were advised lunch is on them. We felt they were genuinely sorry. We went on to order tea and cake. Then out of courtesy we asked for the bill. We were charged for the tea and cake. I felt they had turned it round but then by charging us did not take ownership of their error. For me this is where they failed. Also, I was reading up on some of the reviews and do agree with most of the comments, especially the one that refers to the dirty milk bottles which I had also noticed today. Thank you Fego, but please take full responsibility...

Okay so heard lots of great things about this place. We decided to visit on one of the 3 days its rained during the summer heat wave. We were greeted very nicely and placed on a table straight away. After 10mins we managed to flag a waiter down to take our order. Granted it was fairly busy but someone should have at least asked us for a drinks order. We then waited 20mins for our food, normal for busy periods I assume, but the worst part was they forgot to place my daughter's order who was starving and looking forward to her pancakes. We waited another 20min before she got hers and only because I had to chase it up with several staff members. Food was good but not really anything to write home about. It took another 10mins just to get the bill and then 10mins to pay lol. It's a nice place but really wished they'd pay more attention to their customers especially ones with children. Worth checking out in...

Went back to Fego having not been for a few months... the food was still fab, tasty and fresh. However, the service was really poor. The manager and staff all looked and acted like they didn’t want to be there. They avoided eye contact so they didn’t need to assist us. Unfortunately this has put us off a little and might try some of the other options in town next time. Shame. . . We visited Fego in Beaconsfield with our two young daughters. It was peak brunch/lunch time on a Sunday so we were expecting to wait. However we were able to be seated very quickly and although the venue was quite rightly buzzing with full tables, ALL the staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The food is really fresh and delicious. My eldest daughter ate pasta and fruit salad off the kids menu and she enjoyed every mouthful. This was our second visit and will definitely be back for more. 5 stars all round!

Whilst the people and food is lovely here the payment process seems like an absolute scam! On each table there is a QR code to pay your bill, sounds great as a nice quick easy way to pay and be on your way…..but…. The link takes you to a summary of your bill and also lists a discretionary’ 12.5% service charge. I say discretionary but it’s not as there is no option to edit or remove it. So its a mandatory charge!! Then if you push pay with this charge, the very next page goes to ask if you want to add a 2nd tips!!! A 2nd tip ontop of the mandatory‘discretionary’ charge! There is no £0 option for this either! And then to finally put the cherry on the cake, it adds a 3rd charge for the privilege of using this digital checkout! Overall inflating the price of what we order by a massive amount. At least 20%! For this shoddy business practice i’d be avoiding this place in the future!
