Although like other Costa's there is not much gluten free options but I did for the first time try a breakfast pot, which included baked beans, scrambled egg and mushrooms topped with melted cheddar. All at 198 calories it was delicious, not a hearty cafe full english but definitely worth a try! I also tried for the first time a coconut milk cappuccino, I loved the taste as I needed no additional sweetener or sugar and it's dairy free. I found it a little watery compared to skimmed milk. I'm a very pedestrian coffee drinker, if I can have a lattè in my bamboo reusable mug and been served quickly and with a smile then I'm happy. Every trip is the same standard of drink, service, and setting so it's 'standard issue'. One thing they need to fix is the drying out of cakes in their fridges. I have lost count of the times I have had a dried out, stale cinnamon bun and the biscoff cheesecake...
