Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I would have given no stars but isn’t an option, I come to costa constantly I have the app so I order through drive thru, click and collect and on the app and use the machines, now I regularly go this Costa along side the Upton Costa (which are brilliant) and I have two drinks I always get and despite two altercations before it was resolved but on this particular occasion it wasn’t. So I had asked for a drink that I KNOW is made as I get it every time I go to Costa now the male employee on shift on 9th of March @ 1pm/1:15pm I had asked for this particular drink and the male responded saying I was wrong that they couldn’t make this drink and that the sauce wouldn’t melt unless hot, and that they don’t do this drink, but as I stated they do, now I explained that it was possible politely and then he just proceeded to say that he simply didn’t know how to make it but without even seeing if another employee could make it or an apology for the inconvenience due to him working in Costa and no being able to make a drink. Absolutely appalling...

Have been coming here since it opened, often for informal meetings with colleagues, or catching up with friends from Bournemouth. At the start of 2024 they introduced 'Parking Eye' - apparently as a deterrent for 'boy racers' using the car park at night. None of the staff mentioned this, and as a result my friend and I have both had a £100 parking ticket, for outstaying the 90 minutes we are apparently allowed to sit and buy coffee for. This is a coffee shop out of town on a dual carriageway, so there really isn't any need to operate a system like this, especially during daylight opening hours. Been going there most weeks since it opened so didn't notice the new cameras and there are no reminders at the tills to prompt you. Went in to talk to the Manager who had a page full of people's parking fines to ask for them to be rescinded. Can't imagine this has done their business any good. I won't be going back for sure unless this fine is fully revoked. Pretty shabby...

A friend and I met here and both parked in the customer car park and had coffee and a long chat. We were there for just over 2 hours and both got a £60 parking fine each. Staff said nothing about time limit and signage was nonexistent. AVOID. Update: went in store and later complained to Costa directly. My fine was reduced to £20 but there was no acknowledgment that staff should be directing patrons to use the semi-hidden terminal like Harvester do or any other business with a parking terminal in the store. It wasn’t there before so how are we magically meant to notice a terminal buried amongst the other visual clutter? I’ll be going...
