Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

One of the best Costa locations. Great selection of food and drinks. Very friendly atmosphere thanks to staff working there. I really like that place.

Changing my review after my last visit on 16th of September 2023. I am the customer who is visiting this location frequently about 3 times a week. I was shocked after visiting this location this weekend after refurbishment has been done. It's not Costa anymore. This place looks like warehouse canteen where most important is to put as many people inside as possible. This place has no longer that great Costa Coffee Spirit. You don't feel that warm welcome atmosphere after walking in anymore there. The team working there, the quality of products and service are top, one of the highest I ever seen. I have to say, I was quite disappointed with the tea I was served by Georgia today. It was handed to me in a takeaway cup instead of a proper mug, which really took away from the experience. Tea just doesn’t taste the same when it’s in a disposable cup—it doesn’t stay hot, and it feels rushed. I would have appreciated a little more attention to detail, especially when I asked for a proper mug . A proper mug would’ve made a big difference in enjoying my drink. Is 3rd time when I had this experience here and apparently the staff is really uninterested about the service provided.. Hopefully a lady manager helped me...

Update: Now I get it, small black Americano :) Only cafe that close at 10:30pm in the area! I love Costa Coffee ☕️ However, I love Americano the most& Americano from Costa in any other part of the world would be just a double shots of espresso & hot water. Not here!! They added milk which I was not asked if I wanted. Plus this makes it a Latte, which is not what I ordered. No cinnamon too (a nightmare for me) A selection of baked goods are in this branch but do not expect a lot. Good seating area too. Staff are prompt.
