Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

This isn't my typical review. Over the last year, I have stopped here nine times at the services. Three times, I actually attempted to get a coffee through the drive-through, but they had no ice to make the drink. The drive-through is designed that you will be stuck in line if you decide not to get a drink or they don't have ice to make your drink. This scenario happened all three times, and I was stuck in line and then had to wait for vehicles in front to leave, and then I could leave. The other times I actually went inside, just to be told the same thing, they don't have ice to make the drink. But I can walk over to Burger King, and they have ice. So my question is, are they not allowed to get ice from the same place that Burger King gets it, or have the employees not prepped correctly? All I know is this is the last time I will stop at this services, not just...

one staff looks like he didnt want to be there. and one female staff was very rude, when i had to return my drink because the cream tasted gone off (i tasted the cream and it was warm and lightly sour). she asked if i wanted cream in the new one, i said "if you got a new one, then yes please". she hurled the drink in the bin and it splattered on the wall. then proceeded to grumble and complain that "the cream was fresh" and something about 'demanding', then cleaned up the mess she made. i dont understand why i felt like its my fault for returning my drink and asking for a new one. i know they're busy but serving spoiled products is not a great idea. what's interesting is that THEY STILL SOLD CREAM TO CUSTOMERS WITHOUT CHECKING FIRST.

Terrible service.

Someone arriving for their shift proceeded to make themselves a toasted sandwich then sat down to watch the others struggle with the long line of customers.

Pretty sure one of the 2 lads (Igor?) working had taken a tab of acid as he flitted around ignoring customers with his mad stare. Eventually he took down my order correctly on the 3rd attempt.

The other worker seemed similarly detached from reality lacking any sense of urgency. He then made our coffees (not sure of he'd used the coffee machine before) which were rubbish.

They didnt stock chai latte and had no lactose free milk so we might as well have got it from the machine in WH Smith and saved the 25...
