Served by 'Ricardo' here on a Sat aft (1st June). What a lovely young man and a pleasure indeed to be served by him. Polite and 'very' helpful! Food was hot and well enjoyed. The service received definitely added to the food tasting better, I'd say.
Having returned since and bought two box meals on two separate occasions (Sun 9th and Sun 16th), it's 'very' regrettable I have to say, both the food and the service received was sub-optimal and shoddy! The four piece meal I'd ordered tho' I'd asked for thighs and legs, I was only given legs. While it's a passable error the pieces had little to NO skin on them, patchy at best .... and looked like a dog's dinner! I'd 'never' previously received such 'abhorrent' meat pieces in my kfc order. And NOT hot/warm either .... so, suffice it to say the meal wasn't enjoyed and I was indeed disappointed! I did go back in and leave feedback and seemingly well received, or so I thought!
But I was sadly mistaken .... !
The fillet box meal bought on Sun 16th was an utter 'SHAMEFUL' disappointment! Mine was the last order on the night and there was indeed a power outtage shortly before closing, lasting @4mins or so, when the systems shut down causing an appreciable backlog of orders.
When I finally received my order, it was COLD and the fries 'dry'! The meal paid for certainly wasn't enjoyed and a definite disappointment indeed!
My last two orders at this kfc branch a sharp contrast to the ones had before, nothing to complain about and which were indeed enjoyed. BUT the ones had recently .... a disappointment and a disaster indeed!
NOT worth what you pay for, given it's overpriced to begin with, being on the motorway.
Liam as Manager needs to heed the many reviews posted on here that repeatedly cite, 'INCONSISTENCY' of meals served at this branch. It would greatly help with improved service, if he were to do so. And also to be open to what the customer has to say than merely listening unreservedly to your staff BUT instead to have a fair and unbiased listening manner, IS a needed trait of someone in a managerial role. Please note.

Read moreUnfortunately, 1 star is being generous. For starters the ordering machines weren't working properly. Eventually, after navigating through the atmosphere of a morgue, the order went through and figured because they've only been open an hour we'd be in and out in a flash, but no. 20 minutes later we're still waiting for food, the staff all looking half asleep are either on their phones or wiping their noses in their sleeves (and not cleaning hands at all from our view). Assuming we were waiting for a fresh batch to cook, we were surprised to find everything was overcooked and dry as a nun, half a portion of fries, drinks that seemed to be a mix of all the liquids available, the wrong burger (ordered a fillet tower and got a mini fillet in the box) and 1 piece chicken that was solid, tasteless and all bone. Unfortunately we didn't find this out until on the move but even if we did have the chance to complain, I doubt we'd be able to get through the brick wall glaze of those behind the counter.
We understand there are off days, but we've been here a few times previously and each time something has been a miss. Such a shame when you think this prime location could be buzzing with a bit of care...
Read moreExtremely unorganised, the member of staff who served me spoke poor English and didn't understand what the Variety Meal was (A standard set meal), and had to call over two of her colleagues to help her, they spent over five minutes fiddling with the till trying to find the order. I informed her I did not want a chicken leg which she dutifully called out to the staff preparing the meals, however upon eventually receiving the meal - after having waited another15 minutes it come as no surprise to find a chicken leg in the box. I went back and returned the box and the member of staff who served me was very apologetic and exchanged the chicken leg. However, the two pieces of chicken were minuscule and like the chips were dry and only luke warm. I couldn't be bothered to complain as there were several people getting frustrated with the staff and others who had been waiting in the queue for a while becoming noticeably impatient, infact two potential customers actually walked off in frustration. The poorest quality Kentucky Fried Chicken I've had and most definitely not worth the £9.99 I was charged, which I also think was incorrect. A terrible experience and extremely poor...
