Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Lovely little local Costa and perfect for a mid week meet up. Staff are always friendly and helpful and obviously the coffee is the best of the big high street coffee shops. If I had one complaint it's that the cakes/treats in the cabinet never look particularly appealing and never look that fresh. On my last visit I saw a very sad Hot Cross Bun which looked like it had missed Easter(it was 3 weeks after Easter) and wanted to be put out of its misery (and somehow was £2). Lovely staff, always have time to chat and pass the time of day, they know their customers and always make you feel welcome. Currently can take down name & number on a laptop for track & trace so no need for the app if you haven't got a smart phone. Look out for the reduced items, always a bonus.
