I just love everything about this local business. Their coffee is really lovely, and their baked goods / sandwiches are really good. Special shout outs to their almond croissants, banana and blueberry muffins, and the new yorker ciabatta roll!

The staff are also always chirpy and friendly, even first thing in the morning.

I bought some ground coffee a couple of months ago, but sadly it didn't seem to work in my coffee machine at home - the water just wouldn't drip though. As it wasn't cheap coffee, I took it back and they refunded it without any hassle. They then took my number and they had their head barista call me who explained that domestic coffee machines tend to use a lower pressure than commercial ones, and that it sounded like the grind was just a bit fine for my machine. They said they'd be happy to do a courser grind for me whenever I wanted, just to let them know. How nice is that.

Lovely, charming little place with very nice coffee and I'm told very nice bread (reserving a fifth star for them if that plays out to be true). I had a stollen cookie, which was perfection, service was very friendly and the shop connects, through an open doorway, with the flower shop next door and the smell, oh! Come for the aromas alone: baked bread, coffee, flowers, what's not to like? A point about the open doorway, they are separate businesses but it really made me smile, the fact they connect like that is so Hove, in the best way; people wanting to collaborate, get on and make products well in the right way, that make their customers happy and keep them coming back. So busy they forgot my order of one of their Mushroom spinach rolls. Didn’t get my money back as they were so busy and I had to leave. Prepare to wait or complain. 1/5

UPDATE- Got in touch by email after they responded and I’ve had no response back after a whole week. Clearly they reply here to look good but actually don’t care at all .

Went again and got nothing again. Exactly the same happened. Asked where my roll was but they were too busy to actually answer properly as they were too busy looking for someone else. I called the shop and asked and they had no idea...
