I left a two star review on Just-Eat yesterday after my £17 breakfast was undercooked - it's gotten a lot worse since.

Initially the bacon seemed undercooked, half warm, with completely unrendered white fat; the black pudding was so mushy it seemed barely defrosted; the 'square sausage' lorne I couldn't eat past the first bite feeling like I was eating tartare, and gave to the dog.

I spent all of yesterday off work afterwards with diarrhoea, I counted 8 times I had to run to the toilet in pain and discomfort. I've travelled 40+ countries without even so much as an upset stomach from the worst hygiene street food - whatever Crust n' Crumb did to me yesterday makes me want to take further legal action. My dog had the runs too.

You cannot ever serve half-raw meat from frozen. Whomever is reading this, please please check-on whom was cooking on 26th February 2025, because they shouldn't be...

I’ve been to the cafe a few times and also took a take out from there. Food is always so fresh and delicious and service has always been fantastic. I ordered from Uber Eats today and had a bad experience (this was due to Uber not the cafe). I waited 1.5 hours as the driver didn’t arrive. When he got to me he announced that the food wasn’t fresh and would likely be cold. He was rude and walked away with the food. I phoned the cafe who were really helpful and apologised. They made my order again fresh and personally sent it out to me all within about 15 minutes. The food was absolutely lovely. I expected to loose some quality by having it delivered but this wasn’t the case at all. Lesson learnt with using Uber....

Popped in for a breakfast before a trip away. A lovely well presented cafe with wonderful decor and little touches, that show someone has cared about the atmosphere they're setting when they created the cafe. We were seated quickly and attended to. Drinks arrived quickly and our order taken without issue. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot and delicious. The staff were superb, very polite and courteous. My wife and I even enjoyed the toilet ,(separately of course!), again lovely decor and a unisex toilet so accommodates anyone of non binary designation.
