Curry Cottage (Swindon) — Restaurant in England

While I haven’t been inside the physical restaurant, I’ve now ordered online about a half dozen times purely for convenience. I’m not a big restaurant person per se but I enjoy fine dining in the comfort of my own home.

The Curry Cottage Takeaway is by FAR the BEST Indian takeaway in Swindon and I say that with absolute sincerity because I’ve tried a few now and not one of them has left me satisfied until now. Both in price and quality of food, Curry Cottage excels and their customer service is fantastic too, you can tell their chefs care about delivering fantastic food and service and they absolutely do, all the way down to their in house delivery drivers who are lovely and prompt.

I will absolutely continue to order from Curry Cottage regularly going forward and I dare say, I’ve found a new favourite Indian takeaway that I simply cannot recommend enough....

I recently moved to Swindon and I ordered from this takeaway for the first time last Saturday. I went to pick up the food myself. The staff was extremely helpful and the takeaway shop itself was well looked after, very clean and tidy. We ordered an aubergine based side which was delicious, a curry with spinach, rice and naan. Food was delicious! (and didn't put us in that typical "curry coma" you get when you have a bad curry. It means that food was FRESH). We loved it and will come...

We ordered from here based on the reviews and the rating only due to the fact that our usual restaurant is currently closed. I can safely say it will be the only order I will ever place. Chicken dansak was disgusting due to the chicken absolutely stinking because it was obviously going bad. Onion bhajis had the consistency of flour. Poppadoms were completely crushed.
