I went to Wagamama’s for dinner. I had the mushroom bao and crispy mushroom pieces (I didn’t take a photo of the starters), yaki soba with prawns and the cherry blossom non-alcoholic drink. I have been to wagamamas in different city’s and the food has been consistent in each place which is great. I enjoyed my meal. I have rated the food 4 stars as the mushroom bao and noodles were delicious and I would come back just for those. However, the crispy mushroom and the cherry blossom drink were quite disappointing. The mushrooms didn’t have a pleasant taste or texture. The drink tasted of sparkling water and syrup with a sprinkle of flowers to make it look nice. It was overpriced for what it is. I personally wouldn’t order those again. Also the chicken is not halal here. It would be good if they consider the Muslim community in Swindon and change their meat so it’s suitable for a halal diet. It’s a good thing I love prawns, but I know a lot of people don’t. The service has been rated 3 stars as it was quite slow. I tried to make eye contact with the waiters/waitresses many times, but it took a while to get anyone’s attention. I personally think you shouldn’t have to shout out to get someone’s attention, the staff should be checking on diners to see if they are ready to order and if everything’s ok with the meal if someone has been sitting silently for a long time. Overall, it was good. I would come back for the bao and...

Myself and my partner used to love going to various Wagamamas due to their excellent knowledge of coeliac disease/gluten free. This is why we decided to go to this one in Swindon. We ordered, and I got the allergen aware sticker on my table, and ordered from a separate waiter, I’m assuming a manager. Once the food arrived it tasted very nice but after about 10 minutes of eating, I began to feel quite nauseous so my partner ate the rest of my meal. The rest of the day I was in agony and throwing up a lot, which are the symptoms I get when I have gluten. I had only had food I’d cooked myself, therefore know is safe, and the food I ate at Wagamamas. My partner had no reaction at all from my meal as he is not coeliac. My partner contacted the restaurant to inform them that my meal was not in fact gluten free. They ended up saying there was no way it was the food they served causing my sickness, despite me getting ill mid way through eating it. After several calls and emails later, my partner eventually got a reply around a week later gifting us with a £10 voucher which does not even cover the value of my meal. Needless to say, we have not gone back therefore that voucher is...

I am overall just not had the best experience will definitely not be returning We was greeted by a man that was demanding us to scan a bar code and wouldn't let me talk until he actually realised I was asking if a table was free so I could run and drop all the bags to the car and get a jacket on I asked to sit under the umbrella expecting to be able to turn on the heaters once eating and they was not working Then as I was ordering and they didn't have any photo of the food I was asking info on but it was fine we ordered The starts was ok not much flavour slightly burnt on the outside and crunchy cold in the inside the mains was awful the only nice part was the dry salad on the side I am vegetarian so I had a meet replacement It smelt of Burnt dry meat was awful I actually had To spit It into the napkin once nobody was looking and drink lots of drink the curry source was think and was like powder and water mixed together and on to my plate by then we give up and just wanted to leave as to top it off we had Crying kids next To us and it was raining so we couldn't move I wish I just went next door and had a pizza £50...

I recently dined at Wagamama in Swindon and was blown away by their fantastic service and delicious food. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. But the real standout dish for me was the hot chicken katsu curry. It was absolutely amazing! The crispy chicken was perfectly cooked and coated in a deliciously spicy and tangy sauce that was just bursting with flavor. The curry sauce was creamy and rich, and had just the right amount of heat to make my taste buds dance with delight. Overall, I would highly recommend Wagamama in Swindon to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The hot chicken katsu curry alone is worth the visit, but the rest of the menu is equally impressive. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food and service. Five stars all around!

My first experience of Wagamama was a good one. We went as a birthday group and were sat along a long table. It was a bench style with no back so found it uncomfortable sitting here for a long time. I would have preferred something different where you could converse better but the restaurant doesn't have that sort of space. That being said we were attended to quickly. The food was bought out at differing times as it was cooked but at least you knew it was fresh. I had the citrus and coconut curry and it was amazing. Every single person enjoyed their food and the only gripe was that the beef in the ramen was a bit fatty. Its quite pricey for a bigger family but it's worth the money. Staff friendly and helpful. Put up with a lot of indecision from everyone when trying to make up their mind what to order.
