Domino's Pizza - Sunningdale — Restaurant in England

We always order pizza from this restaurant and this time was really poor experience! We paid extra for a large pizza with cheese and garlic stuffed crust and when we picked it up the pizza looked medium size! Not a large. We rang up the restaurant to enquire about why our large pizza was a medium and the response we received was (and I quote) “the pizza shrinks in size when the crust is stuffed”. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. How can a large pizza shrink in size when the crust is stuffed? Obviously when they make the pizza, they make the dough to a large size pizza and then fold it over to stuff the crust... hence why they pizza “shrinks” in size. This is really disappointing. I would strongly suggest to maybe make the dough bigger than a large size pizza when a customer orders stuffed crust and when it’s folded over the pizza will be a large size WITH the stuffed crust. The way they do it is a rip off!! We paid extra for a stuffed crust and were expecting a large pizza not a medium pizza! Really really dissatisfied and disappointed...

Shocking customer service from the assistant manager. I placed a large food order online for delivery , and realised I forgot to add my sons nacho’s ..... I immediately called the branch and kindly asked for the nachos to be added to my order (I offered to pay The extra on delivery or over the phone) . The manger told me it was not possible to add to the online order , and I had to either reorder and pay the delivery charge as the nachos were below the minimum order for free delivery! He wouldn’t except payment over phone for a new order and waiver the delivery charge , so I suggested I order & pay online , as a collection order (so the Nachos were paid for) and he could just send them along with the delivery driver .... and he point blank refused , told me I would have to come to the branch and Collect the portion of Nachos myself despite the delivery driver coming to my home to deliver the rest of my order . I had a house full of kids so couldn’t leave them unattended (hence the food being delivered in first instance)...

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I was lied to when asking to speak to a manager, I had to drive 15mins to collect three dips after "Jessica" told me she wouldn't add them to the order 2mins after placing them online. As soon as I told her I'm coming to collect them myself, within minutes the manager called to say he could add them to the order. The manager who wasn't there when I asked to speak to him!

Once I arrived the same member of staff was telling another customer I'd been arguing over 3 dips. Antagonising, the situation further. Its clear the manager had no control over his staff as this all happened in his presence and he said nothing to her. At one point he asked her to stop talking and she continued to talk over him.

No one wears name tags so there is no way in knowing if the names I was given were genuine or made up. I will be writing to Dominos head office.

An overall horrible experience....
