As the app told me my order was out on delivery I decided 2 b poised on the edge of my seat. As stated in my delivery notes just above my personal phone number I stated r buzzer is not the most reliable. Now being a taxi driver I'm quite aware that the distance from wyke regis 2 lanehouse at 11pm at nite really shouldn't take more than let's say 20 minutes. Give or take a pit stop 4 fuel or a second delivery. After 35 minutes I decided 2 wait on the doorstep, and then the forecourt and eventually the roadside in my housecoat with my phone in hand flashing an sos 2 any vehicle that might b my beacon of hope. As a police car circled 4 the 3rd time I started 2 wonder if a search party had been sent out 4 said "delivery" driver. Living in such a 3rd world part of lanehouse it's quite understandable that the odd driver might have trouble finding us. However, I provide my personal telephone number 4 this very reason 4 location of r mud hut in the wilderness and find it a little testing when I'm clearly not a hoax order. I pre paid £14 for a tepid dried up pizza so the joke was definitely at my own expense. Come on wyke Domino's. U clearly have form. I don't blame the driver. She still got her tip. Read moreRang twice to find out where the order was. Suppose to arrive 19:10 to 19:30 and arrived 20:00. Person on phone couldn’t answer where it was just ‘on way’ for first call. Second call he said driver had issues but would be there ‘very soon’. I said I would give it ten minutes and he said it would be there and hung up before I could finish. Driver rang at 20:00 and said I had to come to the front of the park as car insurance meant they couldn’t drive on park (not anything we’ve been told before when getting deliveries to the door on this park.) when questioned she couldn’t really explain the policy or insurance just said she couldn’t. Rang shop back and he repeated the rule and I asked why it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. He said if you ring up you are told. I said I’d spoken to him twice and he hadn’t mentioned it. I wanted a better explanation than ‘it’s policy/the rule’. When I said I wouldn’t have ordered it I’d know I had to walk to front of park as I can’t leave my disabled wife on her own and he hadn’t said it on previous calls he said he ‘personally apologised’ so I said I accept the rule but what would be different in the future? It wasn’t i had to wait about 15 minutes while staff stood around or messing about One staff member said a few minutes would be ready then i was waiting longer than that then another staff member asked me if I was being served so I said I have been waiting for my pizza order they said 3 minutes cos it is only just in the oven. When we finally did get it, the pizza was very thin in the middle and the topping fell off under its own weight and the crust was particularly large. It was easily the worst service we had ever had. We were fortunate we took it home where we had a knife and fork and plenty if kitchen towel. Otherwise it would have been inedible. Are you going to do anything to ensure this won’t happen again?
