Whenever we drive through Hayle, Duckies Cafe always catches our attention with its bright yellow building. Finally! over the weekend, my partner and I had brunch here. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who showed us to our table. I really like the cosy and homey feel of the cafe. Despite the cafe being packed with customers, the service was excellent: all the staff were friendly and attentive. Food here is made and cooked fresh. You can see Mike and another chef prepare them right in front of your eyes. I personally thought this was a nice touch to the cafe. Despite it being very busy in the kitchen, Mike even greeted us when we came in. I ordered poached eggs with avocado and Sausages on toast while the partner had a full breakfast. The food arrived to our table piping hot which was great of course. Highlight of the dining experience: This was a very nice personal touch as Mike personally came to our table to offer not only 1 but 2 types of spicy sauce when they didn't have sweet chilli sauce. Overall, both of us enjoyed dining at Duckies and cannot wait to be back to try more yummmyyyyy food! Thank you Mike and Duckies Team.

I was visiting Hayle for along weekend and visited here twice in the three days because it was so good. This is a delicious, friendly independent cafe with a lovely ambience, helpful staff and most importantly delicious food. On our first visit we both a had breakfast, Im a big lad, and opted for "a Full Cornish", my partner is both vegan and celiac and the kitchen accomadated both requests with a smile for her breakfast. We went for brunch at 10.30 and neither of us ate again until tea time, high quality ingredients and a lovely coffee to go with it. On our first visit we noticed the delicious selection of cakes so the following afternoon we returned for a coffee and a cake, again a GF/Vegan brownie was available and tasted delicious. Excellent value, truly delicious food and nice people. Keep up the good work and see you again on my next holiday to Cornwall!

What a little gem of a place. Welcomed into a charming cafe with good music subtly playing in the background, and a bright and airy seating area. The team were friendly and welcoming. The menu was clear, with enough detail to help you choose and made fresh so if you wanted to omit something from a dish this certainly wasn't too much hassle. Drinks were fantastic. Great pot of tea and the coffee was out of this world. Juices were lapped up my my offsprings. When the food came out, we were so impressed. It looked and smelled amazing, and the tastes and textures certainly outweighed the price. The team live and love cooking and you can tell. It was outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough, a total star of a coffee and food place in the Heart of Hayle.

At Duckies Cafe, it's not just about the awesome food – you're getting a real taste of local love, thanks to Mike, the owner who's all about community.

Being a local himself, Mike brings that friendly vibe to Duckies that makes you feel like you're hanging out at a friend's place. And let me tell you, when it comes to their menu, Mike's dedication to local flavours shines through – it's like home cooking at its best.

Sure, their Full Cornish Breakfast is a winner, with eggs cooked just right, crispy bacon, and juicy sausages. But if you're feeling a bit fancy, you've got to try their Royale Florentine – poached eggs, smoked salmon, and hollandaise sauce on toasted ciabatta. It's a real treat for your taste buds.

Plus, the place is always spotless, adding to the cozy atmosphere and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

So, whether you're in the mood for a classic breakfast or something a bit more special, Duckies Breakfasts has got you covered. Mike and his friendly staff will make sure you leave happy and full, no matter what you order.

Sorry we eat the food before we realised we didn't take any photos. But we will definitely be returning....
