(17th May) RESPONSE to owner after last review: firstly, you didn't even read the review fully as I didn't say the staff where outside your premise, they where inside. Clearly you haven't reviewed your INSIDE cameras, not your outside. Of course your staff will be "unaware" as the two males are guilty of this. I can't see them admitting it, hence checking your indoor cameras, unless you don't have them or they aren't pointed on the front seating area inside. Or conveniently weren't working that day. How dare you accuse myself and my friend of lying about this. Refute all you like, I wouldn't take my time or energy to type this unless it was true. Too many people get away with this behaviour, your staff aren't exempt from basic human manners. As for your suggestion of talking to the manager, how would I go about talking to your manager in that moment in time if the doors weren't yet open to paying customers? Also what would of happened if one of those males was your manager? Again, read the original review to get times and descriptions.
Saturday 1st May, during the hours between closed after lunch and pre evening opening, two employees, lads in their 30s one was possibly a little bit older (cctv can see who they are) where sat in the front of the shop. You could see them clear as day.
My friend and myself where sat out the front in my car and noticed the lads pointing at a woman and making disgusting gestures towards her. The lady is a local, she's obese and has learning difficulties. No excuse to publicly humiliate someone.
The lads where pretending to violently retch and kept pointing and laughing at her. We couldn't belive what we where seeing.
The CCTV inside of Sanders will be able to see who these where and what they where doing. Disgusting. If they are supposed to be representing Sanders then I'm ashamed to have them as my...
Read moreWe dined in at the restaurant. Both myself and my wife ordered the haddock. Due to my dietary requirements I am unable to eat chips, so I opted for a salad instead. My wife chose the 50/50 option, that is half chips and half salad. There was only 3 tables occupied, both were of 2 sittings. We waited approximately 30 minutes for our meal to be served. Unfortunately we we both extremely disappointed with the haddock. The hot fat was literally running off the batter, which was soggy with fat. The waiting staff enquired "is everything ok with your meal. I expressed our disappointment regarding the greasy haddock and showed the assistant a pile of soggy batter which we removed from the haddock fillet. The assistant just replied saying "that's strange" without any offer of a resolution to the poor plates of food that we received. We were very disappointed. We have often driven past the restaurant and commented "we will have to try the fish and chips one evening" In hindsight, we should have just driven past again. 2 Haddock meals with a glass of sparkling water came to £44.00. Utter...
