Burnt toast My toast was burnt and served with black side down so it was not obvious until tasting the bitter charcoal. I mentioned it to 2 members of staff but it was ignored. Something was mumbled about it being the fault of the toaster and compensation but nothing was done. No apology. Considering the prices, the least the customer could expect is edible food - all of it. It was obviously hidden on my plate, hoping I wouldn’t notice. My party of 4 are going to meet regularly for breakfast as it suits their work schedule and gives us family time together but we will choose another venue. Ordered 2 bacon sandwiches, 1 Cappuccino and a hot water, the girl looked at me as though I’d asked for gold. After waiting 25 minutes for the sandwiches my partner went to ask how long they going to be, the girl who originally served us replied you didn’t order any? Excuse me yes we did and paid £10.30 for the full order, no apologies just walked away left him standing at the counter. Food arrived five minutes later bacon under done and very fatty awful! Came here Monday 13th November Very bad mannered staff took ages to serve us when food final came we had no tea or coffee saying there had been a mistake girl had for got to charge for the tea and coffee told to go to back of queue to pay again girl said we will have it sorted right away 15mins later tea and coffee came , no manners from her so we had spent nearly 1hour in here as I said very poor service would not recommend here .
